Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IT Support technician to join our team on a part-time and on-call basis. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues
- Install and configure computer systems
- Troubleshoot system and network problems
- Diagnose and solve technical issues
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes
- Offer timely technical support
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Office suites
- Experience with remedy, Computer networking, VPN, Desktop support, Software troubleshooting
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for ticketing system
- Knowledge of basic computer hardware
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
